road infrastructureRybnik agglomeration has an easy access to international transport routes connecting Europe form north to south and from east to west. This location determines the road infrastructure development, which aims to create an integrated communication system of the western part of Silesia. Rybnik currently focuses on the road links to motorways A1 and A4. Pszczyna-Raciborz road section is being prepared. This route will have an important significance for the southern Polish province.


In order to improve the organization of traffic in the city the northern ring road is being constructed. Its aim is to relieve the burden of transit through the central districts. Expansion of roads is also being held in the Industrial Zone, which is particularly useful for investors.

To raise the standard of roads, Rybnik modernizes the surface of roadways as well as bridges and ring roads. Road repairs are also carried out in the city centre. The aim is to improve the attractiveness of the neighbouring investment areas. The internal communication system is also improved by the construction of another junction with a roundabout.
